I am going to renew this theory further, in the hope that it will give people better understanding. What i should mention here is that human experience is not factual, it is not a science. It is not 2+2=4. It is not saying how one thing will give a definite result. It is something else…
The theory explained how every PUA is right about what works and what doesn’t because of the massive amount of possible word combinations there could be. What I will write below will explain why the theory above is right……
It can be said that any experiment in human communication will give a result that is purely subjective i.e. it is purely based on the experimenters experience and may not work for everyone. So this would mean that anything done by one person may not necessarily benefit another because it is impossible to replicate a human experience because there are so many variables that can come into play which cant be accounted for in an experiment. We live in a world where information is in abundance, so much so that, as said in ‘Introducing NLP’…..Paradoxically the increase in information makes us feel more ignorant. Simply i now believe that information found in how to books is of no importance! This is because if we decide to use it we will only get 2nd hand knowledge and not 1st. The real goal is not to get information or knowledge, but WISDOM. To get wisdom we approach something with no third leg to stand on, we approach it and interact with it. Knowledge of how to do something before we have done it is not useful, knowing how to interact with something when we are doing it is more important. Knowing….HOW TO LEARN….is more important than what we learn. With so much information out there, we spend so much time researching and seeing what experts have done and written about.
Question: Why do teachers not teach students how to learn?
Answer: If they did then teachers would become redundant and obsolete.
What we lack is knowledge of self, knowledge of how we operate our brain and take in information. I was at an interview last week and i when i did the role play part of the interview with a girl i told her how people do not know how to memorise anything properly (i.e. into the long term memory). As an experiment i memorised her phone number in 5 minutes in front of her. When i left the interview i sent her a text to prove that i memorised it correctly, she replied telling me how shocked she was and how she wanted me to teach her what i did to remember it so well.
Ok i have gone slightly off topic now….anyway….lets sum up……..Every PUA is right because…EVERY EXPERIENCE THAT GAVE A GOOD RESULT IS TRUE TO THE PERSON WHO GOT IT. Therefore learning something based on someone elses experience will get you nowhere. Instead learn how they got the result, learn how they worked their brain to get them that result. The greatest minds of the world are not the ones who study the greats and put their ideas to use, they are the ones who go out and find out for themselves what works in their chosen field AT THAT CURRENT TIME. Something that is right today may be wrong tomorrow, therefore we must discover ourselves what is right at that time .George Bernard Shaw said it best…..”Reasonable men adapt themselves to the world……Unreasonable men adapt the world to themselves……..That’s why all progress depends on unreasonable men”.
Be in the moment……Learn about the Power of Now to do this. Learn about the Law of Attraction to know how to get to the moment. Learn about NLP in order to know what to do in the moment.
